Dear Robin,
So happy to have found this site. I am a experienced gardener, but my daughter has recently moved to Mexico City from UK and now she is interested to do some composting on the Azotea of their flat, I would be grateful for information about rotating composters.
They are available in he UK in various sizes, also when I was in Brazil doing volunteer work at a Permaculture Institute, we have one there.
Best wishes
Chonette Taylor
Hi Chonette– glad you found the blog– there is a small but thriving ecological and urban agriculture movement just gaining a lot of momentum in Mexico City. Depending on what part of the city your daughter lives in, I could recommend some places to check out– In the colonia Roma, near the center of the city, there is a small but efficient demonstration garden named Centro de Agricultura Urbana Romita… Here’s the website: http://www.sembradoresurbanos.org... maybe your daughter already knows the Romita, as it is well known in these circles in this part of the city. If your daughter has any questions about where to find what in Mexico City, I would be happy to field any questions. What about your experiences? It sounds very interesting your work at the Permaculture Institute in Brazil– how long were you there? What are you doing now with permaculture in the UK? All the best, Robin
